the fro yo is an old picture, and it was from last night

breakfast was Fage with walnuts and honey

work food: a frozen Smart One (I need to grocery shop!!) oranges, home made blueberry bran muffins, a Vitatop, Oroweat turkey sandwich, left over vegetable's, popcorn and a Special K bar

Soup

I weigh tomorrow so I tried to eat light today.

So I have posted 100 times!!! do I get a prize or something?? yeah I have gotten a prize... enjoyment :)

I love blogging, I love the network of like minded folks that have the same mind set as I do and want to make positive changes in their lives, as do I

I think this blogging accountablility thing and it does seem to be working for me.

the popcorn was from last night, a one pointer
I so so need to grocery shop, breakfast was Oroweat bagel thin and the Better N Peanut butter (another amazing find at Trader Joe's!!)

Work food: blueberries with honey and Greek yogurt, oranges, a Kashi bar (a freebie in the mail), an apple and mixed veggies with Parmesan and Dr P's veggie burgers

and dinner was crock pot chicken chili

2 frozen chicken breasts
1 envelope ranch dressing mix
1 envelope Chili O seasoning mix
half package frozen onions
1 can diced tomatoes
1 15-oz can white beans
1 15-oz can Pinto beans
1 15-oz can Chili beans
1 15-oz can hominy

Put everything in crock pot, and dinner was ready when I got home!!! family loves it!!! 3-5 points per cup

I used to freeze it, but since my son has discovered it, well it never lasts long enough to freeze!!

Work food: 2 oranges, half a blueberry bran muffin, turkey sandwich on a Oroweat thin, cottage cheese and pineapple, blueberries and raspberries with honey and greek yogurt and an apple

Post # 97









The kids ran their first 10K today, I am a proud Mama!!!
I think I went over today in my points but I know why, I will be back to feeling better in a few days, I just have to hold on.. all I want to do is eat and lay around, can't do that tomorrow... WORK!!!

any who Ha, I got some good running shoes and I want to try and work toward doing a 5K, I found a gradual program at http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml
so today I walked 2.7 miles outside, I usually do 20 minutes every morning and walking outside is really not what I prefer, but we got up early so I walked later.

I ate 2 helpings of the veggies, thank you for those 35 extra weekly points!!!

I took back some jeans and tops I got last week (what I got the running shoes with) the size 14 jeans were too big, I wore one of them and will just have to keep washing and drying the heck out of them but took back the black pair, and the tops, were shapeless. I think I am not an extra large any more and I keep buying that size and it is getting kind of silly now. Sorry not too much food talk today

It is 3:47 PM and I am posting, I will save this as a draft and post it final later, the whole purpose is to be done for today
Breakfast was 3 egg whites, soy jack cheese and an Oroweat thin, a Karla Mc Muffin **LOL**
I took my son to lunch for his birthday.... Maggianos.... yuck

I ate half a slice of bread and ordered Minestrone soup, what came was tomato broth with TONS of celery in it a few onions, carrots and potatoes, so I drank the broth ... Maybe consumed 3 points total at the restaurant

later... we went to Ginger, the BEST Thai food in the West San Fernando Valley, OH YEAH!!!

I ate until I was full, not uncomfortable full, ate 95% vegetables so I think I stayed within my points today

My kids are running in the Agoura 10K tomorrow, so now I have a new goal, I want to do a 10K, that is 6.2 miles, I think I can do this, I will start working up to it on my treadmill... maybe within a month? two months? I do 20 minutes every morning and I used to do a 4 mile track around the neighborhood, so I think a 10K is within reach..

OK so I have a short term goal... until tonight to be done eating, no more food... I will tell ya if I made it

I stayed OP all day, then the dang dinner I made hubby smelled so good, I probably ate 6 points in bites.... grrr dumb ole me

b: egg whites with onions and peppers and Oroweat thins

work food: Fage yogurt with blueberries and raspberries and honey, half a blueberry bran muffin, Special K bar, mandarin's and an apple, I put the cold green beans with the salad.

dinner: left over green beans and all the bites of the pork with pepper sauce and rice

popcorn

I lost .6 this week so my total loss is 23 pounds :) yeah me!!!

so I will post my pictures later, but something happened today that really shocked me.... so I went to a meeting and I took my food, eating at a meeting, all the non WW foods are just NOT worth throwing away an entire week of eating healthy

so I was eating my salad and one of the gals came up to me and said, oh you brought your own food? I said yes, and she asked if I was dieting, I told her yeah, weight watchers

so she said, oh are you going on a cruise? (HUH???) ah no, I have a year long bet with my son to eat healthy and he has lost so much weight his pants are hanging off.

so she says .... oh he is winning then?

WITCH!!!!

for the record I have lost 23 pounds since 1/1/10 and my son has lost 22 pounds

but WTH?? why the nastiness, I wanted to say, but shrugged it off, it is amazing to me how some people can be so nasty when you are doing something positive and if they are stuck how they feel the need to shoot you down


sorry friend, ha ha ya missed me, I will not be shot down!! I am going strong and feeling so good your brand of nastiness is unwelcome and unneeded.... blah

I worked early today so I didn't do my treadmill today or eat breakfast
Work food: TJ's egg white salad with Bimbo toast, Blueberry bran muffin, Fage Greek yogurt with Frozen blueberries and honey, Jicama and carrots, and hummus

OK let me tell ya.... frozen blueberries, nope won't do that again and I saved a third of the Fage with this idea to add it to the hummus and make the hummus stretch farther to use as a dip for the vegetables, after 2-3 bites, it went in the trash, so that's why I had a child size fro yo on the way home, I threw at least 3 points in the trash!!!

dinner was veggies

I did get in my water and vitamins

Breakfast was cottage cheese on an Oroweat thin

work food: Fage Greek yogurt with walnuts and hone, TJ's egg white salad on Bimbo toast, a bran muffin and a mega salad. I started the salad with th TJ's Mango, Red Quinoa and chicken salad, threw away the Mango and added cold green beans, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. I also took carrots and Jicama
