Did you get your water in today?

  • protein pudding
  • vegetable soup with turkey
  • 100 calorie popcorn
  • 3 carrot
  • 3 handfuls of Beer nut mix Sad smile

these are the containers that I drink my water in daily, I have a glass of water with my breakfast, I take the plastic travel cup with me to work and refill it all day from the 2 liter jug. This way I know I have gotten in all my water. I count my morning coffee creamer along with my Crystal light as 3 WWer points every day.

New for 2012

I haven't done a challenge in forever... so here we go :)

Spring "Chick" Challenge 2012

Commit to a NSV (non scale victory) to be assessed at the start and the conclusion of the challenge: Mine is going to be a 10K the challenge goes from 1/2/2012 through 3/19/2012 (wow, that's short... I better get busy!!)  

Commit to a set of nutrition parameters: I will post daily pictures of my daily notebook, showing All OF MY FOOD FOR THE DAY... YES ALL!!

IF you are on maintenance and do not really track. What nutrition goals do your have?
Tracking, tracking, tracking is the way to maintain!!

How many calories daily or weekly? I don't do calories, I track using the old WWer point system. My goal is to keep it between 21-23 points a day

How much water will you drink daily? 3 liters every day

What items, if any, will you limit? processed foods, I want to keep my diet as clean as I can

Commit to a set of exercise parameters: Gym twice a week, cardio 4 times a week. Rest one day a week

Commit to blogging at least twice weekly; This is a no problem goal :P

Check others blogs and comment as you feel motivated to do... okey dokey

I feel so much better when my eating is on track Smile

I did have some popcorn when I got home but other than that I was spot on

  • egg whites, oatmeal
  • carrot cake protein bars
  • Fage with coconut extract …. major YUCK!! Confused smile
  • salad with egg whites
  • protein pudding
  • vegetable soup with 3 ounces of turkey

I was looking on Calorie count and turkey is going to become my protein of choice over chicken, it is leaner and has less calories and as long as I can buy an entire turkey breast …. humm maybe I will buy 4 or 5 this payday and freeze them??!!

I looked back at my post on 1/1/2011 and I have not put more miles on my treadmill, BUT I joined the gym and I have been working out twice a week so I am fitter than I was 12 months ago, so it’s a wash Open-mouthed smile

Super quick; yesterday’s eats

this is all good, BUT we had the Christmas buffet and there were killer green beans, I ate about 4 big helpings of green beans. Last year I did the same (folks in the city stores know how to cook!!!) I am sure they were boobie trapped (too much butter or something evil and delicious!!)   they were wayyyyy to yummy!! but give me a break they were green beans!

I came home last night, washed my face, brushed my teeth and went to bed… exactly in that order… I did not pass go, I did not collect $200 Smile with tongue out 

I was a tired tired gal! but I feel refreshed this morning Open-mouthed smile ………… like do any of you even care about this nonsense? You can tell I am not a “professional” blogger Disappointed smile

today I didn’t mean for it to be a cooking day but it just turned out that way

I cut up little 3 ounce portions of chicken to make it easier in the mornings… the one picture is chicken and spaghetti squash

I made macadamia, white chocolate chip oatmeal and carrot cake bars and cranberry almond protein bars and chocolate protein bars and pumpkin protein bars the pumpkin protein bars remind me of my Mom’s cry baby cookies Open-mouthed smile 

so how do you think I ate today? baking like a mad woman? yep… not stellar…. not horribly bad, just not stellar

but I did get a kick butt work out in this morning

Positive Energy

  • egg white omelet with spicy turkey sausage, jalapenos and onions and some oatmeal

  • my new protein bars, I had 2
  • chocolate protein pudding, we cooked and this one was underweight, I am a bit of a scale freak…. We weighed all the puddings to make sure they have the same calorie count
  • carrot protein bars
  • popcorn
  • soup

can you tell we cooked today? ha ha Laughing out loud

we made acorn squash, this is another new keeper! spritzed it with the ICBITB spray and a teaspoon or so of brown Splenda and bake it….. total deliciousness!!
