Week 4 Goals for the RFSC

  • I struggle when I get home, because I plan my food and take it ALL to work, so this week I am going to plan out my food so I have something every night… popcorn, fruit, veggies, almonds… something!!!
  • Go to the gym once this week by myself …. I can be such a big baby!! Embarrassed smile I go when my daughter is with me, or when I train, but to go by MYSELF…. I don’t do it

that’s it Open-mouthed smile

  2. Congrats on the mini-challenge. I didn't make it to every single blog this week, but have in the past. So maybe they will forgive me.

Good luck with the gym! I know you can do it!

  3. Good luck with your goals - may you have another successful week! I suggest an iPod to bring to the gym with you, as it has a tendency to make that 'isolated' feeling more normal. Everyone with headphones in is sorta isolated from those around them. We're all used to that, so maybe it will help you feel more comfortable about being at the gym alone, yet surrounded by people.

  5. I have never worked out in a gym, but I bet I would feel like you do. You can do it - I like the suggestion about bringing music with you to help you not feel alone.

  6. I used to hate going to gym by myself but the first time I did it... I LOVED it!! It's totally me time and I noticed my workouts are a lot more productive.

Good luck and let us know how the gym goes.

  7. YES! Go to the gym and tell us about your experience! that can be such a non-scale victory. It's really intimidating.

  8. Thank you for stopping by my blog and commenting :) It's always so great to hear from other bloggers.

I hope you do make it to the gym. It can be intimidating at first, but just go for it. I like Treadmill Hiker's suggestion of music. My workouts wouldn't be the same without my playlist.

Good luck with week 4 :)

  10. I remember when I first stepped into a gym at 270ish pounds. OMG, so intimidating. But I always went alone, I never had a gym buddy. Not at 20 for aerobics, not at 42 with my first trying out of weight machines, not at 48 with Pilates (the three " going to gym" times in my life). You figure out that everyone is too focused to care what you're doing. hahahah. Except for the occasional idiot/dorks, who thankfully seem rare.

    Do it. Do it.

  11. I definitely struggle with coming home from school at night. If I pack my food and take it with me, things are easy, but once I walk back through the door, the problems start. Planning ahead has helped me with this issue a lot. Good luck this week!
