Tuesday and Wednesday

yesterday was training. I train at 5 AM for an hour... speed off home, shower and on the freeway off to work by 6:30 ... I make it but I am usually makeup free and it takes me the entire hour commute to cool down. I shower and I am clean but still hot

I love training days... look at that beautiful Exercise column!!!
today's plan
today will be an average work day so I am curious to see the exercise at the end of the day. My Fitbit sync's with the My Fitness pal so that is cool
also a note: it is not just about the calories for my choices... it is about the food... no frozen yogurt, basically nothing other than what is on the food lists... (I put them at the top NFT) and coming home after a 12 hour day... I commute an hour each way and I work 10 hour days .... ahhhh the glamorous life of a grocery store manager .... sheesh...
oops what was I saying before I was boo hooing ....
ahhh it has helped by me figuring out something to eat when I get home... I am usually in bed by 8:30... home by 6:45 but this short time frame has always been my nemesis
okay I am back... felt silly with the other format... like I am starting over? REALLY111??? life goes on

Monday 7/27

this is day #2 with no coffee creamer. I am happy to report that the world has not shifted on it's axis... The stars are still in the sky. Life can go forward with no coffee creamer....

I need to be careful

today I was thinking about how I DO NOT like lairs
"oh, I quit that" -----> LIE
"oh I don't do that any more" ------> LIE
but I need to also understand that this may be me!! "oh I am on this (or that) eating plan" -----> LIAR
I get the whole be kind to yourself speech, but I need to walk the talk
this got me through today
I DO NOT want to be a LIAR 
I want to be honest, especially to myself.
I went and bought some work clothes today, I needed to .... It's like this weird feeling like I need to "punish" myself and not feel good about  myself until I see a magic number on the scale...  HOOEY!!!

so I reach out to my trainer
"help me I am fat"
so I ask him to send me a menu, meal plan... help
and what does he do? he sends me an email with common sense in it... what the heck?? dang
dang and then this was the opening of the email:

My pants are tight...
EVERY single pair
I have to drop some weight, and fast!!! yeah yeah I know that is the wrong mindset ... truthfully that has always been my problem. I want it to happen overnight and I get discouraged when it doesn't... yeah I know that is stupid.. so that's me
Clean eating is the right and ONLY way for me, but it can be hard .. I am a stress eater, bored eater.. okay I am fooling no one. I just love to eat!!! and being a grocery store manager does not help this situation! My trainer is going to help me (I think) I spoke to him Thursday and weighed and he said something about if you have trouble with consistency (ah yeah that's me!!!)  Shakes (he is into Isagenix and truthfully I am open to this at this point) so we will see
Meal planning is kind of a waste for me, as my brain isn't in the right place right now so I am not sure how to "snap back into things" so I just keep being a poser... posing and acting like I am all into clean eating as I scarf down chips at night, or buy candy at the store... sheesh girl!!!
on another note... a gal at my work signed up for some CRAZY program and it is "guaranteed" to work. If she doesn't stick to their plan 100% and doesn't lose 40 pounds by October (yes that is right 40!!!!) she has to pay them $500 ... what a err I am struggling for the right word... scam? no... she signed a contract... who knows maybe she will kick butt and show everyone her amazing success... hey what works for you, may not work for me and vice versa
Back to the work conversation ... VERY stressful right now. I feel very divided and torn between what I need to do and what I should be doing..  not the same thing sometimes. I have to prioritize and let others help me more and lean on others more. It is hard sometimes

Secret Log #5

it's strange how it feels like I have been back weeks... 
not days... 
I have moved my scale to resist the temptation to weigh 
it ALWAYS discourages me 
push on 

oats, chia, flax and unsweetened almond milk 
let it sit about 15 minutes to thicken 
microwave about a minute 
add the 3 egg whites and mix really well 
microwave maybe 3 more minutes 
custard like oats 
with some SF syrup 

note to self: when making SF pudding 
cannot use unsweetened almond milk 
pudding will not set up 
so I have protein pudding soup 

tuna and toast

getting back into the swing of taking pictures 
now I am reminded why I always took

so no blur 

yogurt and peach 
soo annoying that these pictures won't turn the way I want them to 

keeping it real 
problems of working in a grocery store

I had about 9 (that was the serving size on the bag) 
so I could track it

my review: dangerously delicious!!! 

so I went and ate my meal
oh wowsa yummo time!! 
I bought those little rice cups... but I unintentionally
bought the rice and beans one... not the straight rice 
made it work
came as 2 little cups
one was rice one was the beans 
serving size was 2 
made it into 4 meals so half the calories 
added the soy crumbles you buy in the frozen 
section by the veggie burgers 
added some asparagus 
final result: I make yummy food

and a frozen yogurt 
carb de light 

I always order off the sugar free menu

*8 cal per oz., 2 g carbs, 1 g fiber, w/ xylitol

okay off to pack food, get ready to go do an hour of circuit training then off to work 

oh question from anonymous: How does the PB2 taste? I love peanut butter but tend to eat way too much of it once the jar is open! This seems like a good way to get the same taste without all the calorie damage

PB2 is da bomb!!!!! low in calories and if you add it to a yogurt you would swear you are eating straight peanut butter... totally curbs my peanut butter urge

Secret Log #4

not a very "healthy balanced day" but whatever 

I counted everything and it's all good 
I was running yesterday on 4 hours sleep 
my poor Hubby 
I was a cranky pants 

tuna on toast 

we went out to breakfast
egg white wrap 
with turkey bacon 
in a wheat wrap 

2 of these ^^ 

soup to fill me up so I don't go bonkers 

I went a little bonkers 
but I tracked it 
and good thing the bag was just crumbs 
the other chips the Hubby bought I don't like 
score one for me!!! 

dinner was a portion of tri tip 
and Hubster made theeeeeeee 
most delicious potatoes 
and some cauliflower soup to fill me up 

I made some meals for the week 
cooking and being prepared always 
helps me 
so Monday is here 
My cardio is done 
food is packed 
off to get ready for work
