yep still here .... catch up post

first let me put this out here 
This is the kind of post I NEVER read 
blah blah blah big ole long yammering (AKA just talking)  
but here I go 

I have been laying low

Under the radar 

Just doing my own thing
For this whole past month 
And I have had a nice month 
Weight is the same ... holding in the 150's

Working out is a constant not what I used to do by any measure 
and truthfully I do miss the structure 

I do what I can and I am okay with this 

Always some cardio and then a three circuits (2 arm or back movements followed by a leg movement) then a burst of cardio 
Repeat 3 times 

I did try crossfit 

Humm do I like it? Truthfully I am not sure. It doesn't feel like enough of a work out 


I have never gotten more direction on movements as I have in crossfit. 

The instructors want you to do the movement correctly and the on-boarding/introduction month is all about correct form .... 

so I think blah that was a nothing workout when I leave 

but wake up the next morning and my butt is so sore I can't squat so it is a short HARD workout
where I am used to a fast paced longer workout 

not sure I will keep at it ...
the whole goal of changing things was to find a way to do this training ON MY OWN 
and doing crossfit isn't on my own 

There are Zumba classes at my gym 

yeah I know... dorky... but I want to try them 

I just got off my treadmill, slept in a bit this morning, but NO EXCUSES 
going to be a long week 
my week is JUST starting I work the next 6 days straight (can you say UGH) 

I will get back to blogitty blogging 

but with less yammering

one bad meal!!!! ah NO!

Hope everyone had a nice Papa's day yesterday 
my eats: 
1/3 dry measure instant oats, 4 egg whites  
coffee with half and half  
Premier protein mixed with SF Chai tea 
and a Kirkland bar  
4 whites, mustard and crispy toast  
it was a coffee kinda day  
2 Veggie burgers with broccoli  
fro yo  
then I got home 
kinda sad cause I missed the day's festivities 
and I DID NOT have a good work day 
started to search ... graze mode 
ahhh what are the left over's from the family get together?
mind you... I was not even a little hungry 
then I remembered an article 
about how ONE MEAL 
can ruin a weeks efforts 
ah NO!!! 
so I realized what I was wanting to do wasn't 
hungry eat 
it was 
emotional eat
so I had two of these 
went to bed and called it a night 
and I did 20 minutes on the treadmill yesterday morning also

Happy Father's day folks!

4 whites and 1/3 dry measure oats 
prepared separately then mixed together 
been a long time since I had oats 
I am going to add them back in 
ahhh yum! 
Kirkland protein bars
taste just like Quest in my opinion 
and not as spendy 
premier protein 
with 2 shots espresso and 3 pumps skinny mocha  
4 egg whites, spicy mustard on crispy toast  
this my blog peoples was AMAZING!!!!! 
cauliflower rice, and cooked ground turkey 
yep that was it! 
added some Ranch flavored popcorn salt and pure de Heaven!  
and my nightly fo yo  
no access to gym on Saturday, Sunday or Mondays
as they open later 
so I did a little sumpin sumpin 
believe me I was sweating yesterday morning!

so I am looking down the line at my weigh ins from 2010

yesterdays eats: 
3 egg whites on 2 Low fat Eggo's 
chai tea protein drink 
mixed them together and ahhh yum! 
 sandwich of velveeta cheese, 2 oz turkey
 4 egg whites and 2 slices Bimbo crispy toast 
Quest bar 
brussel sprouts and 3 oz turkey 
with some Ranch popcorn salt  
and a fro yo 
yesterday was 1450 calories 
an hour in the gym 
so off to pack my food for today 
and get some at home cardio in before work

Quietly blogging

so for a while I was posting my blog here, there, and everywhere 
ah why? 
so silly 
I am back to just blogging like I blog 
which is just for me 
3 egg whites and 2 LF Eggos, I use hot sauce as the "butter" 
it's like a spicy egg white sandwich  
oh wow this was so good! 
I have a few of these cartons of the SF chai tea
so I am seeing a repeat in my future today!!
I also had a chocolate Premier  
these came from Amazon 
so good!  
I like these yogurts  
my sandwich 
bagel thin, spicy mustard, a slice of Velveeta and 2 oz of turkey 
I bought these also
they are good but the other snacks are better 
but I have both now 
yeah for Amazon!  
and my fro yo 
dinner was a fruit salad  
and a simple salad 
ahhh 2 bowls 
a big un and a small un 
romaine, tomato, cucumber, some chicken 
a little bit of cottage cheese and light drizzle of dressing 
I also hit the gym today 
schools out = crowded gym 
I will be hitting the gym at 4 AM whenever possible 
it's super empty that early 
me likey

tricks from 2010

I was the most successful ever in losing weight in 2010
and I am reaching back into that bag of tricks 
for some old time trusted methods 
one of which was when I ate 
so yesterday I loaded into my alarms reminders 
something small every few hours 
so I am never truly "hungry" 
it helped back then 
I am sure the old ways will still work 
this one worked like a charm yesterday 
I was walking INTO the gym yesterday at 4AM 
here is close to what I did 
warm up 
1-  incline dumbbell press
1-  flat bench flys 
1- squat
2- tricep cabel extensions
2- dumbbell tricep kickback 
2- curtseys 
3- one arm tricep overhead extensions 
3-  decline flys 
3- toe touch 
I made up SEVERAL workouts and am modeling what I did when I was training 
a warm up 
a circuit 
3-4 times 
then end with abs yesterday was 3 ab circuits of 100 each time 
so I got it 300 abs 
and finish with another more lengthy cardio 
yesterday I was there for an hour and 20
I THOUGHT it was a meh work out 
I wasn't sweating like a mad woman like usual 
but I was wrong, I am sore this morning  
3 egg whites 
and 2 Low fat Eggo's  
I had two of these 
protein with espresso  
3 egg whites and toast 
oops... where is my sandwich????
which was a bagel thin
1 slice 40 calorie Velveeta cheese 
and 2 ounces of turkey 
brussel sprouts 
with turkey sausage 
fro yo 
it was a GOOD day 
today I am off but I have things to do 
so no slug bug mode today

so here we go Boring #1

coffee creamer
half creamer and half unsweetened almond milk 
packed some sandwiches 
and protein drinks 
with 2 shots of espresso and 3 pumps SF mocha
3 egg whites and a slice of crispy toast 
I had to go out and check gas prices 
so I stopped at a Mickey D's for a diet soda 
or 2 
and another protein drink with 2 shots of espresso 
forgot to take a picture of my meal 
green beans, 2 T of the chia, kale and brown rice 
and 3 Oz of turkey sausage 
ahh yum 
and finally!!! 
such a good good day!
total for the day 1327 calories 
protein 136/ carbs 145/ fat 29/ sugar 20
fitbit calories earned: 1064
